Thermally bonded and mechanically embossed polyester nonwovens have good tensile strength and high dimensional stability. These dot embossed filter fleeces are therefore often used on plate filters. As precoat filters they can be used for diatomaceous earth, bleaching earth, cellulose or corn starch.
